Circularity as a starting point
A circular economy is important if we want to avoid depleting the earth. Moreover, it is an indispensable tool in the fight against climate change. That is why we at Grijsen explicitly choose circularity as our starting point. So that we can create and retain multiple value.
Repairable products
In our design concept, we adopt a modular approach. Our products are built from replaceable components, making them easy to repair.
Choice of materials
For our products, we use materials that can be reused: wood and metal.
- Wood can be sanded and is then like new again. Wood can be planed and reused in a smaller head size. And at the end of the cycle, wood can still be used as biomass.
- Used metal can be made like new again with a fresh coat of paint. At the end of the cycle, it can again serve as a new raw material.
