People, Planet, Profit
At Grijsen, we have an eye for people, the planet and economic sustainability. By giving each of these factors the attention it deserves, we as a company work towards sustainable development across the board.
Inclusiveness
Paying attention to people involves paying attention to those who have fewer opportunities. For example, we also offer people with a distance to the labour market opportunities to do paid work in a pleasant environment and thus participate in society.
Local suppliers
The fewer distance travelled in order to manufacture our products, the lower the environmental impact. That is why we prefer to work with trusted suppliers from the local area. With this choice, we also contribute to a sustainable business climate in the region.
Solar panels
There are 576 solar panels on the roof of our premises. They have an annual output of about 160,000 kWh, making our company completely self-sufficient in electricity.
