The name Agora refers to the ancient Greek marketplace — the place where people gathered, debated and where the community took shape. It is precisely this idea that underpins this new picnic set: street furniture as a means of social connection.
The picnic set is a local product: manufactured in the Netherlands by local craftspeople using sustainable materials.
With its clean, timeless design, the Agora picnic set fits just as well in an urban setting as it does in a park or green space. The construction is designed for intensive outdoor use and made from thick steel and treated Dutch Douglas fir. This ensures the design will last for years to come.
As with all Grijsen products, circularity is a key principle. The products are designed to be easy to maintain and repair, which contributes to a longer lifespan and less material waste.
