Grijsen introduces the Quadrat II Series — the contemporary successor to the Quadrat series.
A refreshed design, trusted quality, and designed with circular principles in mind. It was no coincidence that the original Quadrat range was nominated for the Dutch Design Awards.
With the Quadrat II series, that strong foundation has been further developed in several areas — with smarter details, improved manageability and greater flexibility for separate collection.

Advantages of the Quadrat II litter bins
- Flat doors — The doors are now flush with the body, rather than ‘around the corner’ as in the previous generation. This makes them less prone to warping.
- Linkable — Multiple bins sit flush side by side, ideal for separate collection into two or three categories.
- Circular design — Built for repair and reuse, using durable, high-quality materials.
- Integrated ashtray — Optional in the lid of every 70L model, to reduce cigarette butt litter in public spaces.

Always blends in with its surroundings
All coloured versions are made from 304 stainless steel, with the option of polished 316 stainless steel for the hood or a Corten steel body.
Coloured components are finished with two layers of powder coating (120 μm), in a RAL or AKZO colour of your choice.
This allows you to choose a look that suits the surroundings.

User-friendly for day-to-day management
Designed with daily operations in mind, the Quadrat II bins are easy to open and close. Each model features a triangular lock mechanism, operable with a standard key. The door self-closes securely — no key needed.
You can choose the best inner solution for your maintenance team:
- Quadrat 72 and Quadrat Eco 72: plastic bag holder or stainless steel inner bin
- Quadrat 142: waste is collected in a larger internal wheelie bin (roll container), ideal for high-traffic areas
These options reduce service time and simplify maintenance.
Integrated ashtray prevents litter
Every 70L model is available with an ashtray integrated into the hood.
This makes the Quadrat II Series a stylish and functional addition to your public space.
