At the beach entrance Kiefteglop at Callantsoog, you can enjoy a new lookout point. From this dune top, you have a beautiful view of the surroundings. And from now on not only the surroundings are beautiful, but also the viewpoint itself. The lookout is circular and the edge of the lookout is designed as an information panel. So if you stand in the middle, you can read all kinds of information. For example, information about the environment, the flora, and fauna. Grijsen was commissioned to manufacture and install this special information panel. The design is of Dijk&co, Rob van Dijk in collaboration with Merijn Groenhart (former Toprapport now IAAY) and Mariska van den Berg (research and text).
Thanks to this information tableau, the lookout point offers both recreational and educational value to visitors and citizens of Callantsoog.
The province Noord-Holland, Staatsbosbeheer, Landschap Noord- Holland and Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier have cooperated in this project. The work for this lookout point has been carried out by aannemingsbedrijf Dekker B.V. Grijsen park & street design has produced and placed the tableau.
