The Danzigerkade in Amsterdam has transformed a few years ago from an old-fashioned port into a modern business district. What used to be the place where cargo ships with tree trunks arrived has now become the accommodation for many leading companies. The buildings are modern and lively designed and have a high-quality appearance.

High-quality outdoor space
This high-quality appearance is also reflected in the design of the outdoor space. The combination of lots of greenery and a special kind of paving contributes to the overall picture. Grijsen was called in for advice on outdoor furniture. In the outdoor area, there was a need for seating. After an inventory, the choice was made for Notaris benches from the assortment of Grijsen. The Notaris benches have an elegant and friendly appearance. Because of the wavy shape, the seating comfort of the bench is also optimal. In total there are 24 Notaris benches placed on the quay.
Waste bins with ashtray
In a residential area, litter is also generated. To prevent litter, it was decided to place litter bins. For the litter bins, a choice was made for the Constructo 102 litter bin from the Grijsen assortment. This high-quality litter bin is in a special AKZO color and is fitted with a bubble panel. This bubble panel serves as an anti-flyposting tool. Furthermore, the litter bins have an integrated ashtray in the hood.
