New furniture in the brand new schoolyard in Winterwijk
School community de Driemark in Winterswijk will continue as the Gerrit Komrij College. The reason is the merger of the three locations into one new building on the former railway yard. The Winterswijk town council wanted to use this opportunity to develop the school and its surroundings into a 'hanging basket': an eye-catcher connecting two parts of Winterswijk. The open architecture of both the building and the public space contribute to the connection between the two districts. The project as a whole is, in addition to being functional, also an aesthetic asset to Winterswijk.
