Corten steel information pillars
Schiphol Logistics Park is centrally located in the logistics center of the Netherlands. The 43-hectare logistics center is located near Schiphol Airport. The park is divided into two different parts: the first part is designed for large-scale companies and the other part for smaller companies such as forwarding and courier companies. There is also sufficient parking space available in the areas. This has been created in the places where the building was not allowed because of the landing and taking off of airplanes. Most of the 43 hectares have already been sold.
There are now many companies based in the park. To make it clear to all visitors where the companies are located, recently custom-made information columns have been placed. In total 15 kiosks indicate the routes to the various companies in the park. In addition, all the companies have the same sign at the entrance with the name of the company on it. All pillars have a robust appearance through the use of Corten steel. The letters are cut out of the green-colored panels and are illuminated in the evening. This way it is clear to visitors where they have to be at any time. The logistics park now has a unique appearance of its own.
