De Kombuis – The vibrant heart of Swifterbant

The new multifunctional center De Kombuis combines a library, meeting rooms, a rehearsal space, a community center, and 30 senior apartments. The building offers various halls and club rooms, including spaces for the local music association, creating a colorful meeting place for young and old. Around the building, steel seating elements in a striking blue color – perhaps a nod to the former Zuiderzee – provide a recognizable accent in the streetscape. The Constructo 100 waste bins, which can be found throughout the municipality of Dronten, also help maintain a clean and well-kept outdoor environment here.
