Shell-shaped swivel loungers – flexible views of the sea

Three swivel loungers with integrated backrests invite you to relax – whilst enjoying a view in any direction you choose. The swivel loungers, shaped like shells to complement the Baltic Sea, feature a sturdy base structure made of hot-dip galvanised, double powder-coated steel (corrosivity category C5) and are specially designed for use in a maritime environment.

The wooden slats are made from 100 % FSC-certified hardwood (Grijsen FSC SCS-COC-003219), are pleasant to the touch and are built to withstand wind and weather over the long term. Thanks to an internal ball bearing suitable for seawater, the upper section can be rotated quietly and easily – without any visible screws.

Wall top seats

The seating area along the promenade has been enhanced with various bench elements that blend seamlessly into their surroundings – both visually and structurally.

A total of six tree rings with curved bench seats (Plane series) have been installed; the longest measures 8,9 metres and complements the range of spacious seating areas with sea views.

  • Four of these are situated on existing natural stone walls
  • Two on a newly constructed natural stone wall

The hardwoods are cut to a tapered profile to match the radius of the tree pits and fitted with a proportionate backrest. The seat heights vary between 420 mm and 500 mm, taking into account the contour of the wall and ensuring barrier-free accessibility. All timber components are FSC-certified, with chamfered edges and rounded end pieces.

Seating platforms

Three seating platforms without backrests complete the range. They are particularly practical for the local council, as they have recesses for a forklift truck, making them easy to move and transport. This simplifies logistics at festivals.
