Market square of Zeist greened and equipped with new seating elements
In 2017 a start was made with the renewal of the center of Zeist. And now the center is ready for the holidays. In recent weeks the 1st Hogeweg has been redesigned and the already renewed parts have been completed with new lighting and green hedges.

Grijsen was commissioned to install the Constructo 102 litter bins, bicycle racks, and seating elements for this renovated center. And so the center has regained its pleasant and green appearance and is a nice place to be. A nice place to stay also means space for art. So last Friday the bronze sculpture called 'Eden' was unveiled. This sculpture is part of the sculpture route Zeist and was made by the artist Ram Katzir. The artwork is a seated man with a dog, with a height of almost 4 meters, and is a nice eye-catcher for the renewed center of Zeist.
In 2018 more work will be done. There will be more and beautiful planters at Slotlaan and 1e Hogeweg. And the Emmaplein will be greened and the atmosphere added by refurbishing walls and fences and adding lighting.
