Grijsen has further developed several waste bins that are suitable for separate collection. Both the Column and the Constructo have the option of collecting various waste streams separately in one bin.
Waste is increasingly collected separately. In addition to separating household waste, waste is increasingly being separated at schools, businesses, and public spaces. Several organizations have already opted to collect waste in two or three different fractions. Which number of fractions is most appropriate varies from project to project. A trial of both is the way to determine the best approach. Simply putting up a new waste bin does not immediately ensure that separation actually takes place. First, the bin must be recognizable as a bin with different fractions. Clear use of color with recognizable texts and logos contributes to this. Next, it must be clear which fraction is intended for which type of waste. Also, the location and the direction of placement of the waste bin are related to its success.
Grijsen has various solutions in the field of waste separation. Firstly, existing waste bins can be converted into a bin that is suitable for separate collection. Special insert nozzles are available for this that can also be removed at any time. Furthermore, in the Constructo and Column series, there are several bins available with two or three fractions. Each bin has its own appearance and functionalities so there is a suitable bin for every conceivable place.
