IKEA Duiven with fine outdoor space: Pure Eco benches and Quadrat Eco litter bins

The outdoor area at IKEA in Duiven has been equipped with sustainable and stylish outdoor furniture.

Outdoor benches from the Pure Eco series and Quadrat Eco litter bins have been installed on the spacious site. The Pure Eco outdoor benches have been applied in different variants: Pure Eco single-seat, Pure Eco single-seat with backrest, Pure Eco pouffe. Next to the outdoor benches, a large number of litter bins have been placed to prevent litter. The Quadrat Eco was chosen for this purpose. In terms of design, this model fits in well with the Pure Eco series. The base of Pure Eco outdoor benches is made of Corten steel, as is the body of the Quadrat Eco litter bin.

The Douglas fir used for the Pure Eco outdoor benches comes from the forests of the Dutch National Forestry Organisation.

Insect hotels have also been placed in the planting beds to encourage biodiversity. These insect hotels are made from residual wood by people with a distance to the labour market.
